Trust No One

Finally I'm here updating again since I'm getting pretty sick of all the ugly bachelors. I still don't agree with Isaac that the last post was controversial. Everyone agreed that caucasians have better features and are better looking...LOL!

Well I am again 'shiftless' for the next whole week until the office decides to call me at freaking 10.30am to let me know that there's a shift at 2pm on the same day. That was what they did to me last Wednesday. I just don't understand why can't they plan ahead.

Anyway I have a story...I was working at the bar at Telstra Dome just now at 1pm. I was assigned to the register by the "team leader" although there were already 2 active registers. There were 5 of us working in that bar. So there were only 2 person behind the bar...an old guy and the "team leader". At the beginning it was not that busy so all 3 registers were pretty quiet. Oh before I go on the system there is..ppl order drink from the bar and pay at the registers in a separate area.

Anyway after the first quarter it got really busy. The queue at the bar was really really long and the queue at the registers were pretty short cos the freaking 2 bar ppl were soooooooo slow. So obviously with some common sense, I turned off my register and jumped behind the bar to speed things up. And then the "team leader" saw me jumping behind the bar so he decided to take a break!!!!!!!!!! Well...ok never mind...I sabar aje! I still can cope with the long queue although the freaking old man was more concern at cleaning the freaking trays than serving the customers. So I was like a speedy gonzale..

Then the "team leader" came back from his 15 minutes break and decided to jump behind my register (I think it's because the register beside mine was a really hot Iraqi/Aussie mixed girl). Anyway I cant tell him not to right cos he's my "team leader" although I really regretted not asking him to fuck off from my register. You know why? Cos by the end of the night when the other team leader from the next bar came to do our closing, my freaking register was down $140 dollars. (Usually the team leader does the closing but my freaking "team leader" doesn't know how). Anyway I stood firm and said that I wasn't behind my register the entire time and that the freaking guy was at it for most of the time.

To my surprise they said oh it's all right...It usually happens. We'll fix it!! Then I was like WAT THE FUCK?!?!? They don't even have a freaking system! How can you just rest the case when you are short by $140 dollars. Geezzzzzz....I have nothing to say anymore except the fact that their own staff does not have a clue on what they are doing and that someone could have just walked out from there a hundred dollars richer and still they'll be all right with it. How fucking dodgy is that?

Anyway here are some pics from the Amway event that was held for the past 3 weeks at the Melbourne Exhbition Centre. You know the one where all the chinese ppl with no class were at. The ones where they use their dessert spoon to drink their soup, who pulled out the flower from the centre piece vase at their table and the ones where they bang on the tables to cheer instead of clapping. Yep that's the one. I sort of sneaked in my camera phone and took a few pics. The supervisors there wouldn't have seen me doing it cos there were 200 staffs and 200 tables.

Oh ya...did I tell you that the whole event (4 lunches and 4 dinners) cost a massive $32 million AUD? Yeah...the lighting, the staff, the food, the decoration, the performances, the alcohols. $32 million AUD? Hmmmmmm......I think Australia is just as bad as Malaysia! If you know what I mean?

Cleo's Malaysia 50 Most "ELIGIBLE" Bachelors

Ok I might be the only guy that checks out the annual Cleo's Malaysia 50 Most Eligible Bachelors besides the 50 bachelors. But Kenny Sia did blog about it too...

And you know why he blogged about it...that's because he's in it! No other guy would blog about that..trust me! hmmm..except maybe me. LOL...anyway how the hell did Kenny get on that list? It's as if Malaysia has got no guys left! And then I scanned the list...And it wasn't a pretty sight!

Bachelor 46: Kenny Sia

How did this guy get on the list as well? It looks like he just rolled out of bed and straight to the photoshoot!

Bachelor 49: Faizal Yusof

And this guy! Omg...I think the editor should be shot! Is he the 50th guy in Malaysia? I'm sorry but it's not the skin colour. It's just the fact that there are thousands of better looking single guys in Malaysia than him!

Bachelor 25: Vijay K (notice he didn't put down his last name..smart move)

Hmmm...another one...maybe it's just a bad pic! Maybe he's just not photogenic but he has to be a million times better looking in person to get on that list.

Bachelor 6: Adam Lobo

And these three I'm sure are not Malaysians! Why the hell are they on the list? It's like they are implying that Malaysia doesn't have any other guys. But I have to admit they are pretty HOT! Lol...

Bachelor 30: Richard James

Bachelor 17: Alexander Guzowski

Bachelor 24: Herve Leon

Anyway my prediction on who's gonna take home the title of "Cleo's Malaysia 50 Most Eligible Bachelors"...

Bachelor 34: Nagaraj Rajendran

I don't know but it's just the fact that he portrays the typical Malaysian good looks. Hehehe...anyway I apologize in advance if by any chance the few guys that I just bombarded were your friends or related to you in any way. There are definitely other better looking guys out there but somehow they are wise enough not to partake in this kinda thing which they know will make them soooo vulnerable to criticism by people like me who loves to talk shit! LOL..

Plaster That Smile On

So I worked at this distinguish, classy and very historical place called the Australian Club for the past three nights. All the freaking people there are bloody rich Aussie men! People like David Jones etc etc..

The entire freaking place is like a maze. I literally got lost inside on the first night of work..I kept going round and round and back to the same place! But after tonight, I was like a pro..finding short cuts and secret passageways...LOL

I actually enjoyed working at this place as the crowd are more sophisticated and have class unlike Telstra Dome where you can just chuck the beer to the customer and shout 5.80! Hahaha...The members at Australian Club actually compliment the waiting staff and they are very polite and nice although I have to admit the first night was hell as it was the club's 139th Annual General Meeting. Tonight was the best cos it was an engagement/coctail party so there were only finger food and drinks!

Anyway it's been full on crazy for the past week..I worked 2 different shifts at 2 different places last Wednesday from 9.30am to 10pm. And I'm telling you now it's so not worth it. Although the pay is really good but it's not worth sacrificing your leg, neck, back and arms.

I have got to go shower now and sleep cos I have to work tmr at 11am again! But it's worth it to work on a Sunday cos apparently they are paying 25 bucks an hour at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre! Hehehe $$$$$$$$$

Neckaches and Backaches...

So I've worked 2 shifts. One for 4.5 hours and another for just 3 hours. So far so good except the fact that I haven't stood for so long since I last worked at that hotel back in Malaysia. I actually have a sore neck and back.

Anyway, I worked at a bar at the footy match last Friday. It was interesting. Job description include pouring and selling beers, spirits and lucky me I was also allocated to make coffee that night..LOL and I really pity those customers who purchased coffees/hot chocolates that night. Hehehe...I think my froth for the coffees were really really crap. Plus I served cold coffee (cold milk with a shot of expresso) twice that night. The 2 old man was giving me the WTF espression. Hehehe...too bad cos the supervisor just assumed that I was an expert in coffee although I have to admit that that was only my third time making coffees in my entire life. Once in the bar school and once in Daniel's place.

By the end of the night though, the coffees were getting much better cos practice makes perfect right. I think I made like 50 cups of cappucinos, flat whites and lattes and another 30 cups of hot choc. I swear no one taught me how to make hot chocolates so I just came up with my own recipe. Hehehe...Lots and lots of self made choc syrup, hot frothed milk and heaps of cocoa powder to garnish. Hehehe...Guess it wasn't too bad as I didn't made any of the little kids cry and spit out their hot chocs.

Well the next 3 weeks will be hell I suppose. I have 9 hour shifts at the Melbourne Convention Centre. Basically Amway China is having a huge conference in Melbourne. Yeah you heard it right...Amway CHINA! Omg..I can so imagine those ppl (call me a hypocrite! hehehe)! And there are going to be 1800 of them which means 180 tables of them. Hehehe...Good luck to the 200 staffs that we have! So basically I'll be waitering at this event for the next 3 weeks. Not everyday of course...about 3 times a week! Just think about the money...Money Money Money!

So far I think I would prefer the bar job at Telstra Dome. Better pay, less stress and definitely much more fun. Well...better than sitting at home Facebooking every freaking day!

It's A New Beginning!

Well the graduation hype is over! It's now time to face the real world. Forget the wonderful uni life! Forget the 'shit it's too late now...screw class' mentality!

If you haven't known...I finally got a job! YEP! The slack ass lazy pig is going to start work! LOL...No more waking up at 2pm and being so aimless camping in front of my laptop surfing through heaps and heaps of people's profiles, walls and photos on Facebook!

I went for an interview with Pinnacle Hospitality & Travel a few days ago and they said welcome on board. So basically I'll be doing casual waiting/bar/F&B jobs at either Telstra Dome, MCG, Crown or Melbourne Exhibition Centre. I start today at 6pm at Telstra Dome. I don't know what to expect so hopefully everything goes well. This is my first proper job as in I'm paying tax and getting super for the first time. The next few weeks I'll be working as a function waiter/F&B attendant at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. Shifts goes for freaking 9 hours and some start as early as 9.30am. What's worse is I have to go an hour early which means I have to be there by 8.30am! I'm going to die!!!!!! LOL..
Well...MONEY MONEY MONEY is my motivation right now! They pay quite well ranging from 18ish to 20ish.

Anyway, I just came from Daniel's blog and he said that we should reinstate poker nights! I haven't played poker or hang out with everyone for some time now since my parents were here! Mum says she wanna extend her stay for another month! LOL...I was like NOOOOOOOO! My social life will be gone plus I pity my brother who needs to study *excuses* *excuses*...LOL
Well...I promise we'll catch up soon for poker nights, drinking nights, dinner etc etc..Hopefully I won't get too tied up with work!
